Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, historically marks the beginning of Lent and was used to finish up all the ingredients, which would be forbidden in Lent such as milk, butter and eggs. This year it falls on Tuesday the 17th of February, so we thought it was high time we hunted out the best places to get pancakes in London. Sweet, savoury, American buttermilk or skinny crepes, there's a pancake for everyone in these eight great restaurants.

The Breakfast Club

We love The Breakfast Club here at Movebubble, and with locations all over London you're never far from a good brunch. Their pancakes of choice are fat, fluffy and all-American and come with sweet and savoury toppings, including sausages, eggs, streaky bacon, maple syrup and berries. On February 17th they're even running a pancake eating challenge, with the proceeds going to charity.
