Christmas is around the corner. It’ll be here in a flash and we’re super excited over at Movebubble HQ. We’re talking all things Christmas – ‘tis the season to be merry, so what better way than to paint the town red – in your own unique way. City centre Christmas markets
Manchester is known for its Christmas markets and they’re buzzing. With a whopping 300 festooned stalls and chalets, international food, drinks and yuletide gifts, wrap up warm as there’s something for everyone. You can find anything from bonsai trees to traditional bratwurst, hog roast to trinkets. Let’s not forget a glass (or three) of glühwein with your fave shot.

If you’re wowed by ice, this is a must see. Why not hit the ice cavern for an amazing interactive ice sculpture experience, grab a drink at the new -10 degrees South Pacific themed Tiki bar or hit the ice rink? There will also be games and entertainment to get you in the festive mood. Facebook check-in we hear you say.

The bottomless singing cinema
Head down to the ultimate sing-along cinematic experience – we love it. And sing your heart out with bottomless popcorn and drinks (alcoholic too). With different movies from Dirty Dancing, Grease and Frozen to Harry Potter, there’s sure to be a movie you’ll love. It’s a great event for solo and groups, so sit back, relax and sing away.

Bar Hütte, Spinningfields
Bar Hütte is Manchester’s fave ski-themed night out. With an après-ski atmosphere, it’ll get you pumping with seasonal treats, live entertainment and classic cocktails. Their snug chalets have private karaoke machines loaded with chart-toppers and festive faves. Or escape the frenzy in the warmth of the alpine hüttes with a hot G&T. Get snap ready for some fab insta- pics.

You guessed it - it’s all about lights. A must-see festival and the first of its kind in the UK and Europe. Take a journey through the festival, dazzled by lights, lanterns and installations, and lasers with water-screen multimedia shows. With acrobatic performances, live musicians and rides, there’s plenty to do. Hungry? Your taste buds won’t be disappointed.

Now, this is a pre-Christmas extravaganza and we can barely stay in our seats. This indoor event has everything from funfair rides, Santa’s grotto, live reindeers, Christmas panto, circus and theatre shows to a massive real ice-skating rink. There’s a bundle of family fun. See you there.
