1. Alexandra Palace, North London

Alexandra Palace welcomes the Fireworks Festival back this year and provides visitors with colourful displays that are sure to light up the sky. There’s also ice skating, film screenings, cabaret shows, street food festival and more - just in case you’re not content with only seeing the fireworks.

2. Blackheath Fireworks, South London

Fantastic Fireworks in London: Where to Go on Bonfire Night

Blackheath is synonymous with fireworks, thanks to its iconic displays that are one of the few free Bonfire Night events left in London. It gets busy quickly, so make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive. But it’s worth getting there a few hours early for this spectacular display.

3. Richmond Family Fireworks

Located at the Athletic Ground on Twickenham Road, the Richmond Family Fireworks Display is back for another year of fireworks and fun. It kicks off at 4.30pm, with adults and children able to enjoy funfair rides, candyfloss and popcorn stalls, live entertainment, and a selection of hot food and mulled wine. Oh, and there’s some fireworks too! This year, the display takes place with a 90’s music theme.

4. Newham Fireworks Display, East London

Fantastic Fireworks in London: Where to Go on Bonfire Night

Prepare to see the Silvertown Quays’ sky lit up with fireworks while a dramatic soundtrack plays in the background. The theme is the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon, and 20,000 people will be on hand to watch the display. HEART FM’s DJ Roberto will provide the sounds of the night (well, the other sounds that you can dance to).

5. The Walker Fireworks, North London

One of North London’s largest firework displays, The Walker Fireworks attracts crowds of between 7,000—9,000 and features a rousing fireworks display. There’s also a licensed bar, mulled wine station, and spots to grab a bite to eat before watching the skies turn every colour you can imagine.

6. Ravenscourt Park Fireworks, West London

Ravenscourt Park Fireworks has two separate displays, one early show for children and a later version for adults. Food stalls, a funfair, and other activities are on hand to keep you entertained before the fireworks display, with nearby local pubs, The Anglesea and Andover Arms, providing even more food and beverage options.

7. Crystal Palace, South London

8. Fireworks Night at the ArcelorMittal Orbit

See a collection of East London’s best fireworks all at once at ArcelorMittal Orbit, a 114.5-metre-high sculpture and observation tower in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. It stays open late so that you can enjoy spectacular views of the sky turning red, yellow and green. There’s also a slide, just in case you fancy a good ol’ nighttime ride.

9. Harrow Fireworks, North London

Watch the displays while listening to the latest chart hits at the Harrow fireworks display in Byron Park. From Bollywood dancing to fire spinners, this event is sure to add a twist to Bonfire Night and provide a variety of entertainment. Food stalls, beer tents, and a funfair are also on hand to add to your entertainment.

10. Ealing Cricket Club, West London

Fantastic Fireworks in London: Where to Go on Bonfire Night

Ealing is well known for hosting fantastic fireworks displays, and this year’s event is called “fireworks showtime”. And what a show it is - from a laser display to the fireworks show itself, this year’s event promises to deliver on all fronts. There’s also the usual fairground rides, BBQ mulled wine and a candy floss stand.

11. Wimbledon Park Bonfire and Fireworks, South London

Fantastic Fireworks in London: Where to Go on Bonfire Night

Another event with an earlier child’s display and later one for adults, Wimbledon Park has a popular show which sees people attending from all over South West London. The kid’s display starts at 7.15pm, with the adult show kicking off at 8pm.

12. Primrose Hill, North London

You can’t go wrong with watching the fireworks displays from NW3’s Primrose Hill, which has some of the best views in the capital. At 256 feet tall, you will be sure to catch spectacular displays from all over London as they light up the night skies. It’s a romantic spot, too - so head there with a loved one.
