Welcome to our latest instalment of Meet the Movebubblers. This week, Hiten Bhojani is in the house, telling us about his role as the Group Finance Director.

Let's give it up for Hiten

What do you love about working for Movebubble?

It's a real team effort at Movebubble. I know you hear that in all employee profiles, but there's a genuine camaraderie here where everyone takes responsibility. The fast-paced environment (even in lockdown) provides a great dynamic to work in.

Tell us about your journey so far

I've worked in finance for more than 12 years and was the first Financial Director at Groupon, where I advised on various aspects of the business. I was also Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Momondo Group and was the FP&A lead on a $200m majority sale to a US Private Equity firm.

What does your day-to-day look like at Movebubble?

Fast-paced, for sure. There's always plenty going on. I'm involved in discussions about finance-related topics, but also take part in marketing meetings and help with strategy. There's loads of collaboration between departments, and we enjoy great transparency of the entire landscape.

What do you love about your role?

As I'm responsible for the company's financial health, there's lots to unpack in terms of data and seeing where we can improve to maximise our bottom line. I love combining an operational and strategic role to make sure Movebubble is a profitable long-term business.

How is Movebubble doing it for renters

By putting them first. Everything at Movebubble is geared towards giving renters a better experience, from marketing exclusive renter-designed homes to working with partners who offer a five-star service. We're still one of the only platforms out there curating a renter-first experience.

And for our last question, what's your favourite area?

I love Hammersmith. It's near central London without being too close and still has plenty of fun things to do in the area, from theatres to great restaurants.
